Terms & Conditions

Your booking will only be confirmed on receipt of signed Padonhodzo Terms & Conditions, proof of deposit payment and a copy of the I.D. of the person responsible for payment and the clients. Should the terms and conditions not be signed the client will be in breach of contract with immediate effect.

All prices are quoted in United States Dollars (USD). Payments can however be made in either United States Dollars (USD) or Zimbabwean Dollars (RTGS) by the following means:

• Deposit into our FCA Account
• Make a USD cash payment
• Make a deposit into our local account at the prevailing RTGS transfer rate of the day

A 10% discount is applied for non-peak months only. This includes January, February, June, July and November only.
The quoted venue price listed in the packages is NON-NEGOTIABLE.
Discounts will ONLY be applied during non-peak months as stated or during specified periods where Padonhodzo is running a promotional fare on the venue fees.
Unless otherwise stated, no discount may be applicable.

Planning an Event can be very stressful. All Events at Padonhodzo require that you select a Wedding / Event Planner or Coordinator. We suggest that
you (the client) utilize the services of one of the Event or Wedding Coordinators, Planners or Managers on the attached list. This ensures that you are able to relax and enjoy your special day while events magically unfold in front of you. Padonhodzo’s in-house Coordinator / Planner (Nicolle) is available for a fee.

As it is known event planning can really take a big toll on you hence at Padonhodzo we highly recommend that one selects a Wedding/ Event Planner from our list of recommended Service providers attached to this form. This allows you to be a guest at your own event and without without going through the hustle and bustle of wedding or event planning.

DAY WEDDING: 0800 – 2000hours (Client to discuss when the function starts and ends)
EVENING WEDDING: At the moment we host evening functions up until 2000hours. For additional hours, please consult with our venue manager.

For Padonhodzo to maintain standards and ensure your extra guests are accommodated, any guests above your booked package on the day will be
charged US$10 (Ten dollars) per extra guest. (To be paid on the day before entry). Should a dispute arise on the number of guests, Padonhodzo reserves the right to make the final decision.

Padonhodzo to receive the final number of guests two weeks before the wedding and it is encouraged to provide a guest list for convenience.

Padonhodzo will not be held responsible for the safety and the taking care of children attending the wedding, hence the need for clients to provide or make arrangements for a chaperone. Kindly note, Padonhodzo has quite a number of water features and it is reason enough to keep the kids monitored.

Padonhodzo’s accredited service providers are listed in our package. However if the client sees it fit they are free to engage other service providers of their choice having consulted with Padonhodzo Manager and have been given the go ahead.

Service Providers are to make sure that all equipment brought into the venue are moved out of the venue within 24 hours and if it exceeds 24 hours Padonhodzo will not be held accountable for any losses, theft or damages and by all means it will be disposed accordingly.

For the purposes of safety and health it is urged that all equipment be of highest standard and does not pose any danger during the event for example, use of exposed wires and cables is not to be allowed at the venue Entertainment equipment is to be set up at least 2 hours prior an event All Vehicles carrying any event equipment are to keep off the gardens and are to utilise the parking space provided by the Venue.

Padonhodzo does not offer personnel who help with carrying of equipment all service providers should provide their own team to help with such work.

A refundable security deposit of USD$300 for venue security & damages should be paid at the time of making a booking and is refundable 7 days after the event has occurred.

Padonhodzo does not charge any corkage fees. The client can bring in any type of drink.

In the event of the client cancelling a confirmed date at least one calendar month before the wedding date, the non-refundable deposit will be retained by Padonhodzo, and any payment over and above this will be returned to the client less a cancellation fee and service charge fee of $150. For any cancellation made less than one calendar month from the wedding date, no payment will be refunded.

Any postponement of a confirmed more than one calendar month before the wedding date will incur a service charge fee of USD$100. A postponement of a
confirmed date made less than one calendar month from the wedding date will incur the same penalties as a cancellation of a confirmed wedding date.

Postponements due to Covid19: Due to the unforeseen nature of Covid19, the client will be provided with another free date to have their event and this will not attract any extra charge in terms of a postponement fee or cancellation fee. However if the client chooses to cancel altogether, standard cancellation fees will apply.

Final number of guests are to be confirmed 2 weeks before the wedding date. Padonhodzo reserves the right to cancel any function unless “Full Payment” has been made within the stipulated time frame prior to wedding

Whilst every precaution will be taken to ensure the safeguarding of your personal belongings Padonhodzo will not be liable for loss or damages to any personal property belonging to the client or service providers. This may includes décor, props, wedding gifts, flowers and valuables etc.

We strongly advise that all personal and valuable belongings be removed directly after your event. Should any of the Padonhodzo buildings, surrounding gardens, décor or drapery be damaged during setup or breakdown operations of the event, the client shall be billed accordingly.

Padonhodzo and its facilities are used entirely at your own risk and neither Padonhodzo, nor any of its subsidiaries, employees, agents, managers or directors shall be held liable for any form of physical injury or death to any person/s or any loss or damage to any property which may be caused by theft, fire, wildlife or any other causes whatsoever as result of or in connection with the use of these facilities.

In the event Padonhodzo may be delayed in or prevented from hosting the wedding owing to an act of God, War, Civil Disturbance, Requisitioning, Government or Parliamentary restrictions, prohibition or enactment of any kind, import or export restrictions, strikes, lockouts, trade disputes, difficulty in obtaining workmen or materials, breakdown of machinery, fire, accident, or any other cause whatsoever beyond Padonhodzo’s control, Padonhodzo shall be entitled to cancel or suspend the above mentioned wedding without incurring any liability for any loss or damage resulting there from.
